Cannot add site-crashes

Description
Using http://iosbeta.wordpress.com/2010/09/17/hey-everyone-heres-the-latest-beta-bu/
If I try to add http://jorjafox.net it crashes outright. If I try to add http://www.jorjafox.net it hangs.
This is a wp 3.x multisite blog that WAS a 3.0 beta1 site and has been upgraded many times off SVN until the 3.0.1 build.

Resolved in r1081. Unable to reproduce site crash.

Okay ... I know why it crashed my site and you'll LOVE this. In that 'Oh sweet fancy Moses!' way.
It was all because I did NOT have site #1 as my main blog. Site #1 doesn't exist. I had Site #3 as my main site. Details on my fix: http://code.ipstenu.org/?p=76
I suspect this is a 'I am the ONLY free human in existence who would have this problem' problem.

And apparently this crashed my SITE too! Tried to use all my memory and I had to restart apache.
