Cannot copy beta into iTunes over prior versions

When I copy the beta version into iTunes and then syng, I am told that the WordPress? app can't be sync'ed because the app can't be verified. I have now closed iTunes several times. I also did the sync after deleting the old version and before adding the new one.
I will try rebooting the computer, but do not see how that would help.

Any suggestions?

Could be a few things:
1)Did you first copy over the provisional file ?
2)Did you perhaps send me the wrong UDID or serial # by mistake ?

And was the old version one of the betas or the 1.1 version of the app ?

I did the provisional file first. I was able to get the first two beta versions working, though I remember having a similar problem with the first one. Can't remember how it was resolved.

When the WordPress?? app can't be sync'ed using iTunes and displays a message saying "the app can't be verified" , instead of quitting the iTunes please follow these steps-:

1. Click OK button of the message window.
2. And Click on the Sync button of iTunes.

This should work fine.

I tried that a few times. In the end, I deleted the app directly on my Touch. Then it sync'ed without a problem.
I imagine this is a iTunes/iPod issue and not an app one. Am I right?
